Man Engine

Man Engine

Man Engine was built in 2016 to celebrate the mining heritage of Cornwall and is the largest mechanical puppet in the UK

After winning Best National Lottery Funded Arts Project 2017, Golden Tree Productions revived 'Man Engine' for a tour in 2018, visiting heritage sites across the UK including Elsecar Heritage Village and Wentworth Woodhouse.  Production of the spectacular ‘Afterdarker’ show at Elsecar involved overseeing the event footprint, logistical planning, parking and traffic management for 3000 spectators. The 4 videos below show 'Man Engine' in all his glory!
